"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."- Mahatma Gandhi
I was born into a very artistic and entrepreneurial family living in Los Angeles. I feel extremely fortunate to have acquired both of these gifts. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art Studio Art in 1995. I Worked in the computer art market after college for Warner Brothers and Marvel Comics.
After college I've continued to further my education. I've sought out art classes including recently being tutored on digital arts platforms.
While my art took a back seat for awhile because I put most of my energy into having a family, I still found time to create and pursue my own businesses whether it be designing Astrological Neckties to custom vintage purses.
My passion for art and being an entrepreneur never leaves me. Creating art is one of the only spaces I truly feel fulfilled. My other true calling has been on my own personal growth and my ongoing pursuit for self empowerment and peace.
I'm definitely someone who marches to the beat of their own drum. I embrace being different and love standing out in a crowd with my own personal style.
I have learned how important it is to give back and to be of service to others. For me, this is such an important part of my life, that's why I created a company called Consciously Cool Chick and now Leggings for a Reason. Combining these two areas of personal interest for me is the perfect recipe. I've come up with a way to get all these needs met by designing fun and inspiring artwork with positive messaging to help lift up women on products they use everyday while giving back to the community in many ways.
Leggings for a reason has many aspirations; to raise funds and awareness for worthy causes, to create branding opportunities that go out into the community, and to honor and encourage women for their strength and purpose. Our high-quality leggings provide custom cool art with inspirational messages that go out into society hoping to engage and remind women to stay in the moment and love who they are.
Thank you for going on this journey with me.
In deep gratitude,
